AC Milan are keeping tabs on Victor Valdes' contract talks at Barcelona.

Marca says Barca's move to secure Valdes to a new deal will be no stroll in the park. Valdes is aware of his value and unhappy that Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas earns a clear €2 million-a-year more than him.

Milan are in the market for a new keeper and will test Barca's resolve should Valdes indicate a willingness to shop himself around.
