AC Milan are in the frame to beat Barcelona for midfielder Cesc Fabregas, it has been revealed. Cristiano Ruiu, who is with Telelombardia Antennatre, has revealed Milan have agreements with Arsenal and Cesc's camp over terms.
Ruiu, speaking with TMW, says Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani's "Mr X" is indeed Cesc.
He revealed, "For the last ten to fifteen days, I have to say that sources have told me Mr X is Fabregas and he will arrive in late August.
"There are agreements with Arsenal and with the entourage of the player, thanks to the mediation of Mino Raiola who in these last days has been in London."
Barcelona executives were in London over the weekend for talks with Arsenal, but are still to find agreement.
