AC Milan attacker Robinho is desperate to make Brazil's 2014 World Cup squad.

The Rossoneri striker started just nine League games last term.

"The national team is always my goal," he told Globo Esporte. "Last season I didn't play too much.

"I spent a lot of time on the bench and I did not deserve my call-up [for Brazil] in my opinion.

"I hope that 2014 is my year. My goal is to play at the World Cup."
