Aberdeen midfielder Chris Clarke is still waiting to complete his £200,000 move to Plymouth Argyle.
"A few made their feelings known but it was just a handful and it died out as the game went on. It has been a tough week for the rest of the boys and we knew we were in for a hard game as Falkirk play good football.
"But we stood up to it and are still in the cup. In fact we are in all the competitions."
Clark has been at Pittodrie for a decade but admitted he fears his career is stalling and is looking for a new challenge.
He said: "I've seen players moving on like Russell Anderson and Kevin McNaughton and it was something I wanted to try. I have been at the club a long time and enjoyed it, especially finishing third in the league last year and doing well in Europe.
"That is such a high but I didn't want to find myself going stale. That is why I want to try English football.
"Aberdeen are a wonderful club and I've been well looked after but I am looking to move on. If I'm still at Aberdeen next week I will carry on as normal."
