Aberdeen's Dutch midfielder Jeffrey de Visscher is prepared to sign a new deal at Pittodrie now he has regained his place in the team. "I am playing so I am very happy at the moment but I have to make sure I keep my place in the team now," De Visscher told the Daily Record.
"If I can do that and we can keep winning then we will see what happens.
"I talked to the manager about my situation and how things were going in general but now I need to concentrate on staying in his plans.
"He is happy with me which is good but he said he can't guarantee me or anyone else a starting place in the team, which is understandable, so it's up to me.
"That's all I need to know because a few weeks ago I thought he wasn't considering me for the top team even though I worked so hard every day in training.
"But it has been great to get the opportunity to show what I can do for the team in the last few weeks."
