Aberdeen striker Scott Vernon admits he does not know if he will be with the club next season.
The 30-year old Englishman is out of contract in the summer and although he would like to remain at Pittodrie, he is well aware that manager Derek McInnes will have some decisions to make at the end of the campaign.
"I don't have a clue what's going to happen this summer," he told the Daily Record.
"The gaffer has a job to do and has to make decisions on his out-of-contract players. That's just part of football these days.
"I'll try to take it in my stride. Of course I want to stay. I love playing here, although obviously I'd like to start more.
"I'm sure the manager and myself will sit down and talk soon then see where we go from there.
"It's strange that we're so late in the season but nothing has been discussed yet regarding a contract."
