Jerel Ifil has joined Aberdeen from Swindon and in doing so becomes one of the highest paid players at Pittodrie. Ifil played more than 200 games for the Robins and was available on a free transfer.

Ifil, nicknamed 'The Beast' by Swindon fans, said: "I had a look at (Aberdeen] on the map and it's up, up and then up some more. I wasn't expecting to go there so it wasn't even in my mind. It will be a big move but I've got the blessing of my wife."
