Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood is demanding answers from his contract rebels.
Calderwood is demanding Lee Miller and Richie Byrne tell him once and for all if they want to stay at Aberdeen.
But after signing a new deal himself and getting Zander Diamond and Jamie Langfield to stay, he wants star striker Miller and defender Byrne to declare their plans.
Calderwood said: "We've spoken to Lee and he knows he we feel. I've also spoke with Richie and that will be going into overdrive in the next few weeks.
"We need to know what the big man is doing. We will get talking to him again but he is away now to think about what we've said.
"I've asked what's happening and if they're looking at pastures new. That's the last thing we want because I know that will mean a further rebuilding job is needed but hopefully that's not going to be the case."
