A-League Team of the Week - Round 3

Two goals in a narrow 3-2 win got Adelaide United youngster Iain Ramsay a tribalfootball.comA-League Team of the Week nomination.

The 22-year old former Sydney FC man got the opportunity to play up front for the Reds in Sergio van Dijk's absence and provided the goods with two neat finishes in the second half as his side recorded their first victory of the season.

Down the other end of the park, North Queensland Fury goalkeeper Justin Pasfield was right on top of his game, making nine saves to deny the Melbourne Victory maximum points on Sunday.

The ex-Newcastle Jets loanee was hit with a barrage for about an hour as his side dealt with Chris Grossman's 29th minute ejection but kept his side in the contest by making brilliant saves and seeing off 11 shots on target. The only times he was beaten were by Melbourne's Kevin Muscat from the penalty spot and if it wasn't for his performance, the Fury may have been on the wrong end of a thrashing.
