After scoring two goals in Adelaide United's two-nil win over Perth Glory on Friday, Adelaide striker Sergio van Dijk has now scored 29 goals in 57 Hyundai A-League appearances, an average of 0.51 goals per game. Leading into week 9 of the 2010/11 Hyundai A-League season Van Dijk is currently one of only two players to have a scoring rate of above 0.5 goals per game, excluding players with less than 10 goals.

- Central Coast Mariners are aiming for their fourth win in a row at home, which would equal the club's record longest home winning streak; the Mariners are also aiming for their seventh undefeated match at home - the Mariners have yet to lose a match at home this calendar year.

- Brisbane Roar will be aiming to put a halt to an eight match winless streak on the road - the last time the Roar won away was in November 2009 (W2-0 v Adelaide United @ Hindmarsh Stadium).

- Adelaide United have been undefeated in their past ten games, and will create the league's second longest run of undefeated matches (11) should they not lose to Sydney FC this weekend.
