- Wellington Phoenix are aiming for their 23rd consecutive undefeated match at Westpac Stadium, continuing what is by far the longest streak of undefeated matches by a team at a venue in Hyundai A-League history. Not losing for 23 matches in a row at the same venue would equal an Australian national league record - when Sydney United went 23 consecutive matches without defeat at Sydney United Sports Centre from 1996 to 1999. The next longest undefeated streak by a team at a venue in the Hyundai A-League is 14, set by Sydney FC at the Sydney Football Stadium from October 2005 to October 2006. - Sydney FC midfielder Stuart Musialik is set to make his 50th Hyundai A-League appearance for Sydney FC.

- After becoming the first team to score three or more goals in three consecutive matches last weekend, Adelaide United is now aiming to score three or more for the fourth successive match - a feat that has not been achieved in Australian national league football since December 2002, when Sydney Olympic scored three+ in four consecutive matches (W3-0 v Wollongong, W3-1 v Adelaide City, W3-0 v Marconi, W3-1 v Melbourne Knights)

- Melbourne Victory striker Robbie Kruse is set to make his 50th Hyundai A-League appearance. - Melbourne Victory midfielder Tom Pondeljak is set to make his 50th Hyundai A-League appearance for Melbourne Victory. - Having not conceded any goals in their four matches played so far this season, Brisbane Roar are aiming to equal the most number of matches at the start of a season without conceding a goal - five matches - set by Central Coast Mariners at the start of the 2007/08 season (W1-0 v Sydney, W3-0 v Wellington, W1-0 v Brisbane, D0-0 v Melbourne Victory, W1-0 v Perth).
