Adelaide United have produced great performances to get maximum results in the past three weeks, two of those being on foreign territory, and now they get to maintain their lead on the rest of the pack (bar Perth Glory) when the Newcastle Jets come to town.
The Jets have a lot of problems both on and off the pitch and will definitely have their backs to the wall heading into this encounter.
Their financial position is making life difficult for the players and the players are making things difficult for the management with a string of mediocre performances which has seen them record three draws and a loss in four outings.
Ruben Zadkovich's presence will be sorely missed in midfield and I fear that their off-field issues may take their toll and allow the Reds to pounce and grab a win, which should have more action than the Round 1 scoreless draw between the clubs.
