Sydney FC have taken out the Hyundai A-League 2009/10 Premiers' Plate following their 2-0 win over Melbourne Victory at Sydney Football Stadium yesterday.
Sydney FC captain Steve Corica was presented with the Premiers' Plate by Football Federation Australia Chariman, Mr Frank Lowy AC, at the conclusion of the match in front of a Sydney FC season record crowd of 25,407.
In other matches, Wellington Phoenix clinched fourth spot on Friday night with a dominant 3-0 win over Central Coast Mariners, Adelaide United finished their season off on a high with a 2-1 away win over the Newcastle Jets, Perth Glory added further misery to Brisbane Roar, defeating them 2-0 and North Queensland Fury dented their derby rivals' confidence by beating Gold Coast United 2-1.
