Melbourne Victory will host the pay-TV reality football contest, Football Superstar.
Last series saw Sydney FC and John Kosmina crown youngster Adam Hett as the winner and he was awarded with a contract at the club.
This series will see Melbourne and Ernie Merrick take 15 hopefuls on a journey as they aspire to become professional footballers.
"There are so many talented young footballers out there, this is a wonderful opportunity for one of them to stand up and hopefully realise a dream," Merrick told 442.com.au.
"The ability to perform under pressure and in front of an audience can quite often prove the difference between a good player and a brilliant one. With the camera's rolling 24/7 this will give me a good indication on who has the presence and state of mind to perform on the biggest stage of all."
