Ante Covic is preparing himself to take on the likes of Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney next month.
The Western Sydney Wanderers goalkeeper, formerly of Hammarby and Elfsborg, will take the gloves for the A-League All-Stars team in Sydney when United come to town and is looking forward to the challenge.
"No goalkeeper wants to be bombarded with shots, but it would be great if I got the chance to play and possibly save a cracker each from Rooney and van Persie," said the 38-year old.
"Every player wants to play against the best and be challenged to do his best, and the thought of playing against Manchester United in front of a full house at ANZ Stadium - anyone who thinks that isn't a huge occasion is kidding themselves."
He added: "It wouldn't just be unreal to play against them - it would be better than unreal - and it would also be incredible to play alongside great players like Alessandro Del Piero, if that's how it works out. He's a legend, and he's been tremendous for the A-League."
