Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has sung the praises of Erling Haaland ahead of today's clash with Tottenham.

City boss Guardiola has clearly been happy with this hugely impressive return from the Norwegian's first campaign in the English top-flight so far.

But, on the training ground, he's been delighted to see his eagerness to get even better in all aspects of his game.

Guardiola said: “With Erling, one of the attributes that surprised the most, is the fact, the feeling he's aware he can improve in many, many departments.

“And I'm pretty sure watching Harry Kane but not necessarily Harry Kane but also other players, he has the will to (think) 'I can get better'.

“And with his age, this is the best thing he can believe. Otherwise, it would be boring.

“And until we pass away, always we can improve.

"It is the only thing in our lives. Never, never stop, you know, never stop what we can do."
