Brighton are pressing ahead with a move for Sander Berge from Genk.
The Premier League side want to strengthen their midfield, as they seek to play a more expansive style this season.
The 21-year-old, who has played 12 times for Norway, is a key target for the Albion.
They have already signed a player from Genk this summer - Leandro Trossard.
Sky Sports says an offer for Berge has not yet been made.
But if Genk are willing to sell, Brighton will work quickly to try and seal the transfer.
