World Cup winner Betoni a fan of Napoli attacker Kvaratskhelia; talks up Tigre striker Retegui

Argentina World Cup winner Daniel Betoni admits he's a fan of Napoli attacker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Betoni has declared the Georgian a "great champion".

He told TMW: "I am very happy to see this strong Napoli, they always fought but finished second. Today they are an extraordinary team. They have extraordinary players, from (Victor) Oshimen to Kvarastkhelia, who in the last match scored like Messi, Maradona and Cristiano Ronaldo. He scored like a great champion."

Betoni also had a word for Tigre striker Mateo Retegui after his Italy call-up.

"A player I really like," continued Bertoni, "is the one who seems to be in (Roberto) Mancini's national orbit, namely Mateo Retegui. He's good, he's strong, he hits all the balls, a goalscorer, I'd see him well in Fiorentina for example.

"In Argentina there are many good young players with dual nationality. He is a young boy who can prepare for the future: he is a strong player, with an eye for goal and physically strong. If he gets used to Italian football, I don't say he will become (Gabriel) Batistuta, but he's really good.

"He's similar in terms of physical strength. He's a player who I would have seen clearly in Fiorentina, he plays well outside the area, with his back to goal. Italian football is physically more difficult and tactically, let's see."
