West Ham United are set to make a move for Sporting Braga's Rafa Silva.
According to Portuguese publication A Bola, the Hammers are hoping to get a jump on other interested clubs by lodging a formal bid for the midfielder.
Manchester United and Arsenal have been credited with an interest in the 22-year-old while Reading and PSV Eindhoven joined the Red Devils and Gunners in watching Silva in action against Benfica on Monday.
However, West Ham are keen and have been linked with a January move for the five-time Portugal international.
