West Brom news: Wolves fancy Tyler Roberts; Harrison hails international academy kids

Wolves are eyeing West Brom striker Tyler Roberts.

The teen is impressing this season on-loan at Walsall and attracting interest from across the country.

The Express & Star says Wolves and Premier League giants Arsenal are said to be the latest clubs considering a move.

Roberts is out of contract at Albion at the end of the season but it is believed talks over a new deal at the Hawthorns will start soon.

Meanwhile, WBA academy chief Mark Harrison has highlighted the international call-ups of six of their youngsters.

“We're obviously really happy for them," he told the club's website.

“It's always great when you see players like Tyler Roberts reach the under-21 level despite being just 18.

“I'm sure if he continues doing well for Walsall then there might be an opportunity for him in the senior squad in the next year or so because I know Wales think highly of him.

“And then we've got Sam Field, who is going off with England under-20s as they travel to take on Germany.

"It will be good for him to get some games because it's been a challenging time for him, in and around the first team and working hard and waiting for his opportunity.

“Adam Przybek and Pablo Martinez are going off with the Wales under-19s for their trio of games in Turkey, which will be a great experience for them in a different country and culture.

“At under-18 level we've also got Kevin Healy, who is in the squad for the three Republic of Ireland matches for their tournament in Spain.

“Rayhaan Tulloch is off with the England under-17s too. He did very well last time for them and performed at a very high level.

“And Jonathan Leko is on stand-by for England. I'm a little bit disappointed that he hasn't received the call-up, but they've got a strong squad and Jonathan wasn't very well during their last camp so he didn't play many minutes, so that has possibly affected it but who knows.

“We did receive a call-up for Morgan Rogers to go to the USA with the England under-16s as well, but unfortunately he picked up an injury last weekend which will rule him out for 4-6 weeks."
