Tours FC president Jean-Marc Ettori has weighed into the Pogba family feud.
Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has claimed he is the victim of an extortion attempt by a gang, which has included older brother Mathias.
However, Mathias has been speaking on social media to deny the claims and make counter accusations against Paul and his management team.
Now Ettori has entered the fray, declaring himself a "victim" of the Pogba family, particularly the mother, Yeo Moriba.
He recalled to Le Figaro how in 2018 he turned down the chance to sign Mathias.
"We were told to take Mathias and Paul will pay his salary, his expenses. And in addition he offered to come and play a (friendly) match in Tours, and he will come twice to see his brother play in Tours," he declared.
Ettori revealed the money never reached the club, leaving a hole in the coffers of €80,000.
He also stated the latest developments were no surprise, even designating Yeo Moriba as the "gang leader" - the ultimate decision maker for the family.
