Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis continues to rebuild his career in France.

On-loan at Marseille, Gomis was handed the captaincy for victory over Caen.

"We are very pleased to have shown courage, because it was important to be courageous against a Caen team that defended well ... And we had a revenge to take in front of our public (after the defeat at Montpellier)," said Gomis.

"I'm happy, proud, very honored to wear the captain's armband."
