Sergio Aguero has revealed he will leave Manchester City in 2019.
The 27-year-old striker is set to break the hearts of City fans in three-and-a-half years when he leaves the Etihad Stadium to return to former club Independiente.
Argentina star Aguero started his youth career with the Buenos Aires outfit in 1997 before making his senior debut in 2003, rising to prominence with the first team, prior to his 2006 transfer to Atletico Madrid.
'Kun' then moved to City in 2011 and has become one of the world's best strikers during his time in England but will head back home at the age of 31 if everything goes to plan.
"I have always said that I want to return to Independiente and I will do just that," Aguero said in an interview with French football magazine So Foot.
"I will return to Independiente when my contract with City expires.
"I do not want to make my comeback when I am too old. If everything goes well, I will return to the club of my heart at the age of 31."
