Former Brest junior Hakim Abdullah is delighted with his first months at Stoke City.
The 18 year-old admits the club's senior French speakers have helped him settle.
He told Foot Mercato: "I was very well received at the club, by the professionals too like (Xherdan) Shaqiri and (Gianelli) Imbula. I'm happy to be here, it's a new experience. It's completely different. A professional player has to adapt to any situation. I love football, I love it, I love playing. At Stoke, I'm in a good club with good players, the Belgians and French help me a lot in my adaptation.
"I want to finish the season so I can make the senior squad next year. I do not put pressure on myself. If I do not succeed in a match, I work more.
"I do not set myself targets but I am a striker, I like to score!"
