Sporting Kansas City have confirmed the signing of Hungarian striker Krisztian Nemeth.
The 25-year old has joined the MLS club as a free agent after leaving Dutch side Roda JC in July this year. Per league and club policy, the details of the deal were not disclosed.
Nemeth, who will spend at least the 2015 MLS season with Sporting, is expected to fit well in head coach Peter Vermes' attacking plans for next year's campaign.
"Krisztian is a player who has extensive experience playing in a 4-3-3 [system]," Vermes said in a statement released by the club.
"He also fits well in the overall model of play for Sporting Kansas City and we look forward to his adaptation."
During his career, 14-time Hungary international Nemeth has spent time with Liverpool (no senior appearances), AEK Athens, RKC Waalwijk, Olympiakos, MTK Budapest and Blackpool.
He joins Chilean goalkeeper Luis Marin at Sporting Park after SKC confirmed the signing of the 31-year old on Thursday afternoon.
