Spezia coach Leonardo Semplici feels Daniel Maldini has plenty to offer for the remainder of the season.
The on-loan AC Milan striker featured in yesterday's 1-1 draw with Salernitana.
Semplici said: "When I arrived he wasn't at 100%, he had little space. After a few training sessions I saw that he had unique characteristics.
"I tried to give him confidence, he is a boy with great quality, he has to follow a path like others that I hope to be able to launch him.
"I think the most important aspect was the trust given, he felt involved."
Semplici also said: "I was sorry not to start from the beginning, as with others, but we have to work with the right attention. I found this team a bit blocked, fearful, and I'm trying to instill in them the mentality of not being afraid, if we lose it's my fault, if we win it's their credit. Today I liked them, they have demonstrated important values."
