Spezia chief Igor Budan was unsurprised by Dani Olmo's snub for AC Milan.
Olmo left Dinamo Zagrab for RB Leipzig in January, though not before holding talks with Milan.
Budan told TMW: "Leipzig is the best choice for his characteristics. If someone who came through the youth in Barcelona goes to Zagreb it says a lot about the desire to impose himself.
“He has a father very present in his life, he has always been well advised. If he did not choose Milan it's because of the project. As a child, if you were born in Barcelona, you don't go to Zagreb if you think about money first. Leipzig is the right team to keep growing."
