Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer faces having to sell players before making any splashes in the transfer market.

Solskjaer wants at least three big signings to help United's title push next season.

This includes a central defender, central midfielder and winger.

Jadon Sancho is the priority target for the latter position, but United are finding it hard to negotiate with a stubborn Borussia Dortmund.

And the Evening Standard says Solskjaer might have to sell players in his squad to help fund any big moves.

A number of fringe players could be easily sold, including Diogo Dalot, Andreas Pereira, Jesse Lingard and Phil Jones.

While Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo spent this past season out on loan and would be open to leaving the club on a permanent basis.
