Real Madrid midfielder Rodrygo Goes was delighted with his double in victory at Cadiz.

Real won 3-0 with Rodrygo scoring twice and Jude Bellingham also netting.

He said: "It was a tough game, but we played really well and controlled the game. I'm happy with the two goals, the assist and, most importantly, the win.

"I had no choice on the first goal because the two defenders closed in on me and the shot was all I could do. Then the ball went past me and I had time to get the shot off.

"I'm at a good run. I'm working hard to score goals, provide assists and help the team as much as I can. I want to carry on like this."

On his late call-up with Brahim Diaz suffering a stomach problem, Rodrygo added: "I only found out a few minutes before the warm-up. I thought I was going to sit out because I had a problem with my knee and my tooth. Then I had to play, but everything went well."
