Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has stepped up his pursuit of Cruzeiro midfielder Lucas Silva. Ancelotti sees Lucas Silva as a replacement for Sami Khedira.
Marca says Ancelotti has consulted Serginho, AC Milan's head of scouting for South America, about the young midfielder.
Ancelotti had already watched several videos of Silva and read a detailed scouting report put together by Real, but was keen to get a second opinion on the starlet from someone he knows personally. What's more, Serginho is very familiar with the set-up at Cruzeiro, having played there.
