Football director Paul Mitchell has left his role with French giants Monaco as planned.
Mitchell had committed to seeing out the summer window with the principality club.
However, the former Tottenham and Southampton employee has now parted ways with Monaco, having worked as their sporting director.
Per Fabrizio Romano, new CEO Thiago Scuro has taken over the responsibilities of Mitchell.
Now there will be a push among Premier League clubs to attempt to secure the director.
He has previously been linked to Manchester United, with the Red Devils in need of stability in their recruitment department.
