Watford goalkeeper Pontus Dahlberg has explained his loan move to Doncaster Rovers.
The Sweden international spent last season with BK Hacken.
He told Fotbollskanalen: "Watford wanted me to go on loan in England to get matches in England and feel about English football. Then Doncaster emerged as a good alternative. I had a good chat with the coach and the goalkeeping coach, who told me about how they work, which made me get a good picture of it all.
"I can imagine that Watford has it a little easier to follow me now, as it is in the same country. They have a better idea of what is happening here, can follow players more closely and know the level. If you compare with the Allsvenskan, it is higher intensity and speed."
