Philadelphia Union have sent Pedro Ribeiro and Richie Marquez on loan to USL PRO affiliate Harrisburg City Islanders.
23-year old attacking midfielder Ribeiro was taken by the Union with pick number 15 in the MLS SuperDraft in January and will now spend the 2014 USL PRO season with Harrisburg.
Likewise, defender Marquez was taken with selection number 44 by Philly and will look to further his development at the Skyline Sports Complex.
Ribeiro and Marquez joins homegrown players JimmyMcLaughlin and Cristhian Hernandez to be the four Union players sent to Harrisburg as part of the two clubs' affiliation.
