Palermo coach Davide Ballardini would welcome the prospect of working with Mario Balotelli.

Palermo directors, including president Maurizio Zamparini, have announced in recent days they're working on a deal for the Liverpool striker.

Ballardini, after Palermo's impressive draw with Inter Milan on Sunday, was asked about Balotelli's potential arrival.

"Yes, I would like to coach him, but I do not know if I will," replied Ballardini.

The deal will hinge on Liverpool being willing to cover a majority percentage of Balotelli's wages this season.
