Newcastle United striker Elias Sorensen is happy to spend the second-half of the season with the U23 team.
The Dane has been recalled from his loan at Carlisle United after failing to make a first team impression - an experience he also suffered away with Blackpool last season.
"Hopefully I'll be playing some U23 football and regaining some confidence. And at least to enjoy playing football again, because I haven't played football for a whole year," Sorensen told TV2 Sport.
"I was on loan in Blackpool and it wasn't very good.
"Then I took out a loan in Carlisle, and it wasn't very good either, so I want to go back and play football every weekend."
