Newcastle United are eyeing a move for Motherwell goalkeeper Mark Gillespie.
The 28-year-old is a former Magpies youth player.
Now he could move to a club and serve as a backup to Martin Dubrakva, according to Daily Record.
Gillespie is out of contract in the summer, and would be a bargain addition for Newcastle boss Steve Bruce.
Existing backup keepers at Newcastle, Karl Darlow and Rob Elliot, are both out of contract in the summer as well.
If they move on, adding Gillespie would be the next step for Bruce.
