New York City FC coach Ronny Deila is happy working with Manchester City.

City's umbrella company, City Football Group, owns NYCFC.

Deila told VG: "It is very close and we have a lot of contact with Manchester. New York is a focus area for the owners. We get the opportunity to enjoy all the experiences they have with Manchester City, and we get to use all the expertise they possess. It's incredibly rewarding."

Asked about contact with City manager Pep Guardiola, Deila also said: "There has not been much time for that, but I think there are opportunities. I get a lot of information about what they do and how they think. I hope we can come to Manchester soon and have a little chat. Because I have great respect for what he has done and stands for."
