Marco Baroni is delighted to take charge of Frosinone.

Baroni has stepped in for Moreno Longo, who was sacked this week.

“We thought carefully about choosing Baroni, respecting the status and history of the club," said president Maurizio Stirpe in the presentation Press conference.

“It's not as if we can think Jose Mourinho will come here. We are humble people, we know where we came from and where we want to go, so we want to take that journey with people just as humble, who think Frosinone is their Manchester United.

“Baroni has signed on until 2020, regardless of whether we achieve Serie A safety. We hope he'll be more fortunate than Longo and can keep us in Serie A."
