Manchester United have opened talks with VfB Stuttgart for striker Serhou Guirassy.
That's according to Sky Deutschland's Florian Plettenberg.
He is reporting that in principle, the French-born attack forward wants to finish the season with Die Roten, but a good plan and favourable financial conditions can still change his plans.
According to Plettenberg, talks between United and Stuttgart are at an early stage. There is no verbal agreement yet.
The stated amount, less than 20 million euros, would be a bargain for United.
Guirassy's contract is mooted to carry a buyout clause of €17.5m for the January market.
