Manchester United have no plans to sell Anderson in January.

The Daily Mail says United have decided to keep Anderson until the end of his contract in the summer rather than give him a £1.4m pay-off next month.

But a number of Brazilian clubs are interested in taking the midfielder back to his homeland and Old Trafford sources are optimistic a buyer can be found.

Anderson has talked up the prospect of returning to Gremio this season.
