Sergio Aguero has helped pay for a new training ground for former club Independiente.
The Manchester City striker has paved the way for his impending return to the Argentine club by spending money on a new training facility which he will use upon his comeback in 2019.
The 27-year-old commenced his career with the Avellaneda outfit and has promised to return to Buenos Aires when his current deal with City expires.
Of his generous donation to the Independiente cause, club president Hugo Moyano said: "It is so important for us. He will be recognised for the rest of Independiente history."
While Aguero added: "Independiente fans know I will retire from football playing for them.
"It's so nice to help your club."
