Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan could be missing for their clash with Liverpool.

Gundogan is a doubt for City's top-of-the-table clash against Liverpool with a hamstring injury.

The Germany midfielder looked in discomfort as he limped off the pitch mid-way through the second half during their Champions League encounter with Hoffenheim.

Gundogan was replaced by Bernardo Silva and is unlikely to be fit to face the Reds on Sunday.

He was pictured laying on the turf with his hand holding his right hamstring as concerned team-mates came to his aid.
