Kevin De Bruyne says Manchester City's players are looking forward to Sunday's crunch meeting with Liverpool at the Etihad.

The Sky Blues are just one point ahead of Jurgen Klopp's side on the Premier League table.

Speaking after a 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final first leg, De Bruyne said his teammates would be ready for Sunday.

"It is five days until Sunday," De Bruyne told BT Sport. "Both teams have played tonight.

"It is a big game and everybody is looking forward to it including the players."
