Munir El Haddadi has been sent back to Barcelona B.

The Barcelona coaching staff have decided for El Haddadi to drop back down to Barça B, having been the only player to feature in the senior side's first 28 matchday squads this season.

Munir is officially registered with the B-team and has played for them previously this campaign.

He is now dropping back with Barca B sitting 18th in the Segunda Division table.

Barca coach Luis Enrique explained: "I can't guarantee him as much first-team football as he had early in the campaign, even though he deserves it. I may need him, but he has to earn his time on the pitch. He'll help us again and will become an important player for us."
