Freddie Ladapo scored the first goal of his loan spell with Oldham Athletic on the weekend.
The 23-year-old forward, who is on loan with the Latics from Crystal Palace, came off the bench to net a 65th-minute equaliser as Steve Robinson's side came from behind to beat Gillingham 2-1 at Priestfield (KM Medway) Stadium.
Following Cody McDonald's headed opener on 10 minutes, Ladapo levelled it for the visitors when receiving a ball from Lee Erwin which saw him lose his marker and fire beyond Stuart Nelson.
It was the former non-league striker's first goal in his sixth League One appearance for Oldham.
Ladapo then had a helping hand in Ryan Flynn's late winner when he stepped into the path of Gills keeper Nelson as the match-winner bundled the ball over the line.
The win was Oldham's second of the season which saw them move to 21st place on the tier three table and Robinson was thrilled with the contribution of Ladapo.
“Freddie took his goal well and he came on and gave us a little bit of life," Robinson told the club's official website.
“We've got options now and the strikers have started scoring goals so hopefully the chances we are creating, we deserve to be further up the table."
