Liverpool are battling Leeds United for Motherwell's 16 year-old defender Sam Campbell.
Football Insider reports FLiverpool are set to hold talks with Motherwell youngster Campbell in the next few days. Brighton are also interested in signing the centre-back.
Campbell has been given permission by Motherwell to discuss a move away from the club.
He is set to be shown around Anfield and Liverpool's training ground Melwood after the Reds had an offer accepted.
Liverpool's initial plan would be to have Campbell as part of their under-18 squad.
Leeds have also been successful with a bid and are set to offer Campbell a tour of their facilities in the next couple of weeks.
Campbell has rejected a three-year contract extension at Motherwell and he must now decide the club he wants to join.
