Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is hanging onto Herbie Kane.

The Portsmouth News says Kane will be remaining at the club.

The 20-year-old had been linked with a host of Football League clubs, including Portsmouth, Charlton and Hull.

But Kane will remain at Anfield and is likely to feature in the Reds' Carabao Cup campaign.

The midfielder made 49 appearances whilst on loan at Doncaster years, scoring seven times.
