Josh Kennedy netted a double as Nagoya Grampus defeated Kashima Antlers 3-1 in the J.League on Wednesday.
The Australian international converted from the penalty spot in the 10th minute before Keiji Tamada doubled Nagoya's advantage just before the break.
Kennedy, whose goal against Iraq last month guided the Socceroos into the World Cup, made it 3-0 in the 76th minute with his fifth goal in his past eight league outings before Yuya Osaka netted a late consolation for Kashima.
Grampus now sits 11th on the J.League table, having won their past three matches, but are 11 points off the top three sides.
