Jamie Bynoe-Gittens is delighted to have made his full debut for Borussia Dortmund.
The former Manchester City trainee was handed a start for victory over VfL Bochum on Saturday for the first time.
Bynoe-Gittens said: "I was relaxed, not nervous. Just full of anticipation to be part of this team.
"The fact that I play without fear is exactly my thing. I want to stay cool and play my game."
The winger admits he had a tough start in Germany.
"It was a difficult time, it was in the middle of the pandemic. Then I hurt my ankle three times. But now I'm back. It wasn't an easy path when I look back," he recalled.
"Now I'm playing again and it feels good. […] I'm even stronger mentally now. I went through quite a lot back then, I left that behind me."
