Investcorp president Mohammed Al Ardhi congratulated AC Milan on victory over Genoa last night.

The win keeps Milan top of the Serie A table amid Investcorp's takeover talks with Elliott Management.

Al Ardhi said, “Congratulations to AC Milan once again leading the Italian league. Happy Easter to the club, its fans and all those observing the holiday."

The Bahraini investment company are currently in advanced negotiations to purchase the Rossoneri from current owners Elliott Management and the deal is reportedly in the region of around €1 billion.
